Their second single released in September 1966, "I Can’t Go On".is Beatles
influenced with a fuzz guitar lead, strong melody, great vocals, layered
guitars and a swirling fuzz guitar solo break. This garage/punk influenced
track written by Glenn Grecco should have made a stronger showing on the charts. Disappointingly, it stayed on the Montreal
charts for only four weeks reaching a high of number 38 on Dave Boxer’s CFCF
Like Young Hit Chart...and it didn’t make it on to the CJMS top 40 chart.
Side
2 - "The One Who Wants You" again is Beatles influenced and is a slower number with an infectious melody along with marvelous uplifting lead & harmony
vocals.
